Un nouveau site web pour le musée dédié à l’oeuvre de christian dior - musée christian dior (granville, normandie)
Depuis son ouverture en 1997, le Musée Christian Dior abrite certaines collections de la Maison depuis ses débuts. Construite à la fin du XIXe siècle, cette bâtisse nommée « Les Rhumbs » fut la maison d’enfance de Christian Dior qui y a vécu entre 1906 et 1914. Elle est située pratiquement en bord de mer, non loin du Mont-Saint-Michel et des Iles anglo-normandes et fut particulièrement aimée par Christian Dior ; sa façade rose pâle et ses jardins fleuris inspirés des jardins anglais ont été d’importantes sources d’inspiration pour ses créations. Aujourd’hui, nous pouvons en découvrir certaines au travers d’une exposition annuelle.
Objectif
Moderniser l’interface du musée et la rendre plus ergonomique et accessible.
Retranscrire les codes et les iconographies qui ont contribué à forger l’identité de la Maison, elle-même inspirée de la villa d’enfance du couturier qui borde les côtes normandes.
🇬🇧A new web design for THE museum dedicated to a great fashion designer - Musée Christian Dior (Granville, Normandy)
Opened in 1997, the Musée Christian Dior is a french museum in Normandy which contents his work since the beginning of the brand. It was built in the Dior’s childhood house, where he lived from 1906 to 1914. This end-19th century house with an english inspired garden is located all along the sea, not far away from Mont Saint-Michel and Channel Islands, and was particularly beloved by Christian Dior : the sweet pink facade and the beautiful flowers were a important inspiration for his work. Today, we can see there his most beautiful dresses and discover a new exhibition every year.
Goal
Recreate a ergonomic and trendy interface for the museum, which supplies informations about Christian Dior and his childhood and a ticket buyer platform.
We care about using elements like colors or fonts which take a big part in the brand identity.
The new museum logo : the compass rose inspired the name of the villa (Les Rhumbs) and a mosaic figures in the garden.
